7 Globalization 2
Exercise 5
1.
Having read the previous texts. What do you think can be the effects of
globalization in Chile? Mention 2.
1)
The
disadvantage that local traders have against multinational companies.
2)
the
control of multinational companies over the consumption and life of Chileans.
2. Do you think globalization is a
reversible process? Yes, No? Justify your answer.
The truth is that I think not, the world today is very accustomed to the
current globalization, countries have become interdependent on foreign products
and labor, as well as the consumption of society, we are very accustomed to
imported products or foreign brands, including services from elsewhere. I
believe that globalization as a term and economic structure could disappear and
a new one could be created based on it, but not as a step backwards.
I agree with your second point! it's almost impossible to minimize the impact that new connections have in a place or point in history - it tends to stay around forever.
ResponderBorrarI agree, I think the same. But also is important to know more. We buy foreign things and don't support local consumption
ResponderBorrarOn #2 I agree, it is a great disadvantage that can generate more poverty by ending local commerce
ResponderBorrarI agree with you that local and national producers have a great disadvantage to multinational companies, I think something should be done to counteract this problem, I do not know, that there is support from governments to grow their business so that they can export to different countries.
